Job Description

Our client is hiring a Tax Manager to lead critical tax compliance and strategy initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make an impact on tax planning and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise leadership on tax implications of business activities and strategies to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee preparation and review of quarterly tax estimates, annual tax returns, and related work papers.
  • Manage compliance for U.S. federal, state, and local partnership and corporate income tax filings.
  • Coordinate internal teams to document and calculate tax-related transactions for annual compliance.
  • Review and deliver K-1s; maintain partner demographic data and state filing information.
  • Ensure audit-ready work papers and efficient tax compliance processes.
  • Develop tax strategies for transactions, acquisitions, and other initiatives.
  • Handle personal property tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, HR, and Technology.
  • Conduct tax research, draft memoranda, and create training tools for compliance.
  • Assist with complex federal, state, international, corporate, and partnership tax issues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax experience (including 3+ years in public accounting).
  • CPA license required; strong knowledge of partnership and corporate tax.
  • Experience with state and local tax; international tax preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel and tax research skills.
